Meet our Coaches
Coach Knight began his lacrosse journey at Estero High School before transferring to Canterbury School, where he played attack, graduating in 2018. His talent on the field earned him a Division II scholarship to Lees-McRae College, where he competed at the collegiate level before finishing his playing career with the club lacrosse team at Florida Gulf Coast University. Having been a key leader in high-performing programs, Coach Knight brings a deep understanding of offensive strategy and a passion for developing young athletes. His high-level playing experience, and emphasis on the mental aspect of competition, make him a valuable asset to the Tribe.
Coach Colavito began his lacrosse journey at Bishop Verot before transferring to Canterbury School, where he played Long Stick Midfield (LSM) and Defense, graduating in 2018. He continued his education at Florida State University. Now serving as the assistant varsity coach at Bishop Verot, Coach Colavito brings a strong foundation in defensive play, a commitment to character development, and a passion for helping young athletes grow through the game of lacrosse.
